WELCOME TO MRCCR

We are a bunch of dedicated Radio Control on-road racers. Skill levels start with the newest of novices and go all the way to some of the best drivers in the World. Classes are 1/8 and 1/10 Nitro on-road cars and race days are run on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month (check the Calendar though). We have undercover pits and a canteen that offers food and drinks all day long. All are welcome and you don't even need to be a member !! Club membership however offers many benefits including reduced race day entry fees and the opportunity to buy a key to the track. This key allows the member to use the facilities any time within our scheduled operating hours for practice and training.

From humble beginnings back in 1989 in a carpark down in Geelong the club has grown to be more than 80 strong at present with one of the best facilites in Australia and has hosted many state and national title events.

Hours Of Operation

MRCCR has in place strict Hours Of Operation for vehicles with
Internal Combustion Engines (Electric cars can be operated any time).

They are as follows:

- Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm  

- Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm  and  4.00pm to 6.00pm

                (no engines to be used between 1.00pm to 4.00pm) 

- Sundays                TRACK CLOSED (except for Race Days)

- Good Friday          TRACK CLOSED 

- Easter Sunday      TRACK CLOSED 

- ANZAC Day          TRACK CLOSED 

- Christmas Day      TRACK CLOSED

 - All key holders are responsible for the track. 

 - Any key holder found abusing the Hours Of Operation will
   automatically forfeit his right to hold a key. 

 - There is no appeal.
