NEWS 1. The AGM has now been held. We have a new Committee and after more than 3 years we also have a new President. I am sure you would all like to join me in congratulating Gary Westwood on his appointment to the top job. The Committee now looks like this:President: Gary WestwoodSecretary: Aaron O'DonoghueTreasurer: Tighe O'DonoghueCommittee: Nick Salib Peter Miller Andy Bishop David Bozzi George Tsakanias George Passanise Andrew Dibben Steve BarkerPlease make every effort to assist these guys in running YOUR club. 2. As you are all probably aware 4 of the 6 Australians racing at this weeks IFMAR 200mm IC world titles were MRCCR members. They ended up like this:6th Phil Woodbury32nd Peter Jovanovic (MRCCR)40th Steven Jovanovic (MRCCR)57th Jeff Hamon61st Jessie Davis (MRCCR)80th Ashley Seward (MRCCR)Congrats to all these boys!!! 3. The second running of the working bee went off with a bang with 15 members making the effort to turn up. The fences were repaired, the dunny slab poured, the roof of the storage shed cleaned up and security improved on the canteen building. Nice work !!! 4. This week the long awaited roster system will be put into place. Some of you will be allocated tasks that must be completed during the day i.e. putting out and emptying the bins etc or setting up the canteen etc. These are minor tasks that when spread across all our members will make the day run smoothly and lift the burden of doing everything from the shoulders of the few who have been doing it all for the last few years. See you all on Sunday.Az
